Results Learning provides superior one-on-one and small group tutoring and academic coaching services to public and private schools as well as directly to families.
The Program Manager will lead after school reading intervention programs in local Public Schools. We are looking for a motivated team-player who has a proactive management style, is detail oriented and enjoys problem solving while making a difference in disadvantaged students’ lives.
This position is responsible for planning, launching, implementing, and working with the program team to ensure our tutors have the tools and support necessary to encourage and drive students’ growth and success. We are seeking a leader who can spearhead and coordinate small and large projects while energizing and empowering our team to achieve company and customer objectives.
Responsibilities
- Builds a cohesive team and develops structure and direction to meet or exceed customer needs
- Hires Site Directors and tutors
- Proactively manages department staff and provides leadership
- Organizes and executes pre- and post-test assessments
- Coordinates program logistics with schools and district
- Mentors and supports Site Managers and tutors
- Builds lasting relationships with school administrators and parents
- Develops and presents progress, school, and district reports
- Creates a trusting work environment where people can realize their full potential.
Requirements
- Possess superior communication and listening skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Outstanding leadership abilities, employing an encouraging , structured, and creative approach to managing people and projects
- Ability to work flexible hours and work overtime during peak season
- Dual language speaker, English and Spanish desired but not required
- Evidence of program and team leadership and results within that capacity
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures
- Experience in the education industry in a similar role/function is desirable but not a must
- Minimum of one year successful experience of program management
- Desire to make an impact on “at risk” students.
This position is direct hire and salary is $45K.
